Ian Wharmby is a Registered General Nurse and Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Ian started his career in healthcare in 1981 and has been involved in psychotherapy since 1998.
Ian has achieved:
- Qualification as a Registered General Nurse at South Sefton Health Authority in Liverpool in 1984.
- Certificates in Counselling Skills and Counselling Theory from the Central School of Counselling and Therapy at Southport College in 1996.
- Accreditation for his Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy at the Centre Training School of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy in 1998.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, and obtained his United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy Registration in June 2001.
- Awarded Fellowship of the National Hypno-psychotherapy Council in 2005.
Ian’s work in Occupational Health and Rehabilitation has taken him nationwide. He has provided these services to some of the UK’s leading Occupational Health Providers and Insurance Companies, working with both private and public sector organisations.
With over 30 years experience of both clinical and commercial environments, Ian has adapted all of his extensive clinical experience and knowledge to provide a professional service to those seeking either Psychotherapy Services or Occupational Health and Rehabilitation Management.
